Dr Waters Retirement
After 36 years of working for the NHS Dr Waters has decided it’s time to retire. She joined the practice in 2003 and throughout her time with us she has combined excellent clinical skills alongside her natural warmth and empathy. Her last day will be Friday May 14th and we are hoping that when lockdown allows we will be able to have a proper leaving party in the village hall for her later in the year. The practice will miss her enormously but we wish her every happiness in her well earned retirement.
We are very happy to announce that we have been able to find a very able replacement for Dr Waters and Dr Anna James (no relation to Dr Philip James!) will be starting on Monday 17th May. Dr James is an experienced GP and is currently working at another local practice. We are very pleased she has agreed to join us and I’m sure she will provide a seamless transition when she starts in May.
